WATCH: Ariel Posen Shares Video for “Didn’t Say”
The Canadian guitarist’s third album, Reasons Why, out September 8

Canadian singer-songwriter and acclaimed guitarist Ariel Posen will release his third album, Reasons Why, on September 8 via Soundly Music.
Recorded in his native Winnipeg, Manitoba and Montreal, Quebec in early 2022, Reasons Why serves as a beacon of reflection and growth for Posen as both an artist and a person. He named the album as such in reference to what drives human behavior and how the choices we make create a ripple effect that can impact others.
“There’s songs about relationships, forgiveness, pushing toxic people out of your life, mending broken relationships,” Posen explains. “There’s also songs about mental health and the way we have a perception about how we feel, the inner struggles we don’t always let out into the world.”

Rock & Roll Globe is honored to premiere the third single from Reasons Why, the sweeping “Didn’t Say,” today on the site.
“‘Didn’t Say’ details how a relationship could have been salvaged if it wasn’t for the things that were left unsaid to each other,” Posen reveals. “This is one of the first songs that lit the spark and concept for the album.”
In support of the release of Reasons Why, Posen will be touring around the world with his band through the fall and winter of 2023. Tour dates, along with the lyric video for “Didn’t Say,” can be found below.
