The comic book-influenced hip-hop power trio Czarface is back with a new album, Czartificial Intelligence, released on December 1st via Silver Age/Virgin Music.

And today, the super combo of Inspectah Deck, Esoteric and 7L have unveiled the animated video for the album’s latest single, “Czarchimedes’ Death Ray,” where Esoteric declares, “I might refrain from fronting on anything that I stated / You don’t want a pissing contest, I’m fully hydrated.”

The video for “Czarchimedes’ Death Ray” was directed by Hoku & Adam, aka the directing team of Hoku Uchiyama and Adam Bolt who are best known for their animated video for Katy Perry’s “Harleys In Hawaii.”

“We needed a visual that captured Czarface’s brand of justice and a kid’s boundless imagination,” notes Esoteric of the video. “But also one that also kept a comic-like pace to match the track.”

This is the 12th album Czarface have released since coming together as a supergroup a decade ago in 2013, and almost 25 years since Deck, Esoteric and 7L first collaborated on the 1999 single “Speaking Real Words.”
