LISTEN: 37 Houses Shares ‘Keep It Together’
New EP, Shadow Puppets, out soon

San Francisco’s 37 Houses are primarily one married couple who make poignant, melodic indie rock in the key of mid-90s Matador Records.
And as a quick follow-up to their acclaimed eponymous debut released last November, the duo of singer Erin Sydney and songwriter Jeremy Rosenblum are back with a new EP called Shadow Puppets that’s slated for release later this summer, and serves as a companion to its predecessor.
However, Rock & Roll Globe has dibs on an early sneak peek at the new set with the premiere of its latest single “Keep It Together” today on the site. It’s a song that originally appeared on their debut LP but has been revamped as a full band version in this latest incarnation.
“The first album is full of songs that are about pain, but ‘Keep it Together’ is about the ways to cope with pain to find the joy,” Sydney explains. “This is a song about the things you can get through if you just hold on to each other.”
Fans of Helium and Bettie Serveert alike should check out the tune below. The band is playing select dates across the U.S. through early August.
