LISTEN: Raul Midón Shares New Single “When We Remember”
New album, Lost & Found, out April 26th

The great Raul Midón is back in 2024 with a stellar new album, Lost & Found, due out on April 26th.
It’s his 13th studio LP, and one that finds him working alongside longtime friends and industry vets Andres Forero on drums and percussion and bassist Richard Hammond (both of whom appear on Broadway’s Hamilton) in crafting this new collection of “smooth folk” as he likes to call his music. String arrangements were provided by Andrew Sherman.
“On this, my latest album, Lost & Found, I attempt a deeper dive into life’s triumphs and disappointments,” Midon explains about the LP’s impetus. “Universal themes such as love, fear and unapologetic bliss are explored through a more mature lens. Example, love becomes a condition rather than a state. Doubt is an ocean that can change a person’s worldview. One must become lost in order to then be found. We give meaning to the moments in our lives through the magic of memory. This album is yet another attempt to impart meaning, through song, to life’s experiences.”

Rock & Roll Globe is honored to premiere the new lyric video for Lost & Found’s latest single, “When We Remember,” a country-tinged song that includes a stint of Raul playing banjo.
“‘When We Remember’ is a song I call smooth folk and I’m playing banjo and harmonica,” explains Midón. “What a ride it’s been. In this lyric video I express feelings about life as it passes, the moments we remember, about the rejuvenative power of memory. Heavy stuff but glorious.”
This marks Midón’s second album released on his own imprint ReKondite ReKords (ReKo ReKo). He is currently on the U.S. portion of the Lost & Found Tour. Check for dates close to you below.
