It was quite a weekend for British pop star Charli XCX and her excellent new album, Brat.

First, Pitchfork bestowed upon it a glowing write-up on Friday, giving the album a Best New Music rating of an 8.6 based on their deeply scientific ranking system.

“With the charts full of warmed-over disco and weepy Reddit-detective pop, I’d have happily accepted 15 high-end throwback bangers about being iconic and dressing like you’re on The Simple Life, as Charli seemed to tease,” rhapsodizes Meghan Garvey in her review. “And as an homage to French dance music of the late ’90s and 2000s, from the euphoric filter house of Crydamoure and Roulé to Ed Banger’s heavy metal disco, Brat delivers.”

Now, only three days after Brat’s release date, Charli has surprise dropped a deluxe edition of the album to the pleasant surprise of fans. Entitled Brat and It’s the Same But There’s Three More Songs So It’s Not, is out now on all streaming services and features the following new tracks: “Hello Goodbye,” which was produced by A.G. Cook, “Guess,” produced by the Dare and co-written with 100 gecs’ Dylan Brady, and “Spring Breakers,” a tune that uses a sample of Britney Spears’ 2003 song “Everytime” and was produced by A. G. Cook, Easyfun and Jon Shave.

Charli XCX anticipated Brat’s release with the early release of four singles: “Von Dutch,” “Club Classics,” “B2B,” and “360,” a song that features a remix featuring Swedish acts Robyn and Yung Lean.

In the fall, Charli XCX will embark on a North American arena tour with Troye Sivan and Shygirl. Prior to that, however, the British singer will be playing a cache of gigs at smaller venues throughout the month of June. Fall tour dates are below.

I’ve been personally listening to the deluxe Brat this evening, and it’s definitely worth owning — the album of Charli’s career in my opinion.
