New album, Making A Scene, out tomorrow on Cleopatra Records
Asbury Park, NJ indie power trio Dentist have a killer new album, Making A Scene, coming out tomorrow via Cleopatra Records.
And Rock & Roll Globe is thrilled to bring you the video for the single “New Dress” ahead of the LP’s release this afternoon on the site.
“‘New Dress’ is about trying hard to reach goals, but then wondering what’s the point?” explains the band’s bassist/vocalist Emily Bornemann “The narrator is definitely a nihilist, but also believes that no matter how hard they try, it will never be good enough. Musically, we wanted the song to feel like a punk rock version of ‘Dancing in the Dark.'”
Dentist will be closing out summer with a couple festival performances including Sea.Hear.Now Festival and The Philly 10K.
In the meantime, fans can preorder the album on limited edition pink vinyl or CD.
