Jane’s Addiction Announces Tour with Love and Rockets
The North American trek kicks off in Las Vegas on August 9th

For the first time since 2010, the classic lineup of Jane’s Addiction are hitting the road, and with Love and Rockets no less.
Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Eric Avery and Stephen Perkins have announced a North American tour in late summer / early fall with the English goth rock icons that will transpire in August and September. See below for dates.
One can only hope these four guys in Jane’s are at peace with one another and united in bringing their ocean sized mountain rock to longtime fans on this upcoming trek, which, for them, officially kicks off tomorrow night at the Roundhouse in London, England in the first of a month’s worth of shows in Europe before coming back to the States in August. Avery rejoined the band in 2022, while Navarro had to leave the fold in order to heal from a bout with long COVID.

But as a recent show at London’s Bush Hall exemplifies, the boys are back and debuting new music in the form of a tune called “Imminent Redemption,” according to a report in the paywalled Rolling Stone. Hopefully the band will work on the proper follow-up to 1990’s Ritual de lo Habitual after the tour. The group’s latest album is 2011’s The Great Escape Artist, which featured both Chris Chaney and TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek on bass.
Perry, meanwhile, recently wrapped up his final tour with 90s side project Porno For Pyros, who also released new music as well.

No news to report on any upcoming music from Love and Rockets however, but it’s nice to see the trio of Daniel Ash, David J and Kevin Haskins have reconsidered retiring from touring after suggesting their string of 2023 dates would be their last. We need Love and Rockets now more than ever, and cheers to the booker who paired them up with Jane’s.
Tickets for the North American tour go on sale to the general public this Friday at 10 AM via Ticketmaster.
