LISTEN: Civil Rebellion Shares New Single “Too Late for Tomorrow”
New six-song EP, All At Once, out this summer

Washington’s own pop punk purveyors Civil Rebellion shifts gears into a more introspective feel on their latest single “Too Late For Tomorrow.”
“The sun goes down, so does my mental,” singer Noah Wossene croons in a style that falls somewhere between Bright Eyes and My Chemical Romance as piano and strings play somberly in the background.
“I’m weary to give my story behind this song because it’s honestly not the most positive of stories to me,” Wossene tells Rock & Roll Globe about the song. “But that’s not what leads me astray to share. I’ve learned that people view this song in a much different, more ‘positive’ light. I slightly laughed at that response. Not out of spite or some sort of naivety of the listener. But the sole fact that to me, this song is to be my MOST clear message about mental struggles. About the darkest and lowest points where it truly feels like tomorrow just couldn’t hold anything worth more. To later discover, many view it to be a motivation. A wake up call that you can’t sit around waiting for tomorrow. That ‘tomorrow’ is today. I like hearing that take. It truly shows me the genuine light in the dark. But let’s step back to the lonely boardwalk to revisit the essence of what created this song and how it came to be.”

“Too Late For Tomorrow,” which Rock & Roll Globe is happy to share with our readers today on the site, is one of six tunes featured on the group’s forthcoming EP, All at Once.
“Whether you’re a revisiting listener to Civil Rebellion or a new set of ears, you’ll come to understand a major theme throughout our band’s releases,” Wossene says. “That being a fine balance in our musical tones. Energetic pop punk, rock music to get your blood pumping and heart racing. But the healthy drops of your melodic calm wave as well. Welcome to the world.”
